LONDON, UK – February 22, 2021 - Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ× (Element) is pleased to confirm that it has retained its listing in the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 for the third time in a row at 161.
Published on 21 February in the Sunday Times, the International Track 200 ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, measured over their latest two years of available accounts.
After a long period of sustained revenue and EBITDA growth, driven by ever deeper customer relationships and a successful acquisition program, Element has developed into a true global player in the testing, inspection and certification sector. Present in 30 countries, its connected network of laboratories and the technical expertise of its people have delivered leadership in a wide range of end markets. Since the end of 2019 Element has built a stronger presence in the connected technologies and life sciences end markets, with its investments in PCTEST and ALG. Earlier this month it acquired Avomeen, a leader in analytical testing services, with expertise in pharmaceutical testing, biotechnology and FDA regulated consumer products.
Jo Wetz, CEO of Element, commented: “We are pleased to have retained our position within the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 for the third year in a row. Overall, 2020 was a tough year for many businesses and sectors, but Element continues to invest in growth. We have been proud to expand our Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ× in life sciences and connected technologies, which have had strong years and we launched our Digital Engineering business in January. It is our diverse portfolio which is helping us navigate the impact on some of our other end markets.
“We will continue to focus on growth and investment in innovation and expand our Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ× according to customer need. Our plans are ambitious, but with an even stronger team in place, we are confident of achieving them."
